I am an angler with heart and soul. Already as a teenager I built my own floats, later I tied flies for sea trout and pike fishing and for more than a decade I have been casting individual rubber fish. So the idea and the desire to develop a suitable jig head for my rubber lures was very obvious.
The jig should be eye-catching and different!
From the first idea in 2016, through the various prototypes, to the finished Q-jig that we are now proud to offer here, it has been a long journey.
Besides the design, it was very important to me to develop a high-quality product and to do something for the environment at the same time.

Who doesn't know that rubber fish often tear when pushed onto the hook shank? In my opinion, the reason for this is the lead attachment to the jig head. Another problem is that the lead heads often wobble on the hook wire. I wanted to avoid this problem at all costs with my jig head! A baitholder specially made of V2A fixes the rubber fish 100% to the Q-jig and also prevents the bait from tearing.
The Q-jig has been intensively tested by us - nothing wobbles here. The jig head does not deform or burst open, even if it is thrown against a rock fill or bridge pier. The high-quality hook from VMC® does not bend or break and remains needle-sharp for a long time.

My son Jonathan, who is an active and passionate angler himself, and some of my closest fishing friends thought that this unique jig head should be available to all anglers! That's why the Q-Jig is now produced for you in Germany, combined with a lot of manual work.
